Box 0227 (old label: #14 "Assorted Titles...") contains documents relating to City automobile liability policies issued by the Commonwealth Casualty Co. of Philadelphia, with related correspondence, mostly notices reporting cancellations sent by the City Clerk to the License Commissioner of Newark. Also included are a group of polices labeled "Taxi Company Individual and U-Drive" (1929-1930) and documents relating to the "Hahn Case," Commonwealth Casualty Co. v. Ahearn and Hamilton (James Hamilton and Hamilton Auto Service).
