Access NoteLibrary hours are Tuesday-Friday, 9am-3pm; and Saturday, 10am-3pm. The Klingenstein Library reading room occasionally closes early for a special event. Please be sure to call ahead at 212-485-9225 or check the Library’s page for the latest information before making a special trip into NYC to use the Klingenstein Library.
Researchers wishing to access the collections must schedule an appointment in advance. Requests for appointments should be submitted to the librarian for the Department of Prints, Photographs and Architectural Collections at printroom@nyhistory.org
All researchers must register and create an account using the online collections request system at: https://nyhs.aeon.atlas-sys.com/aeon/ This can be done from home. On arriving at the Library patrons must register again before conducting research and will be asked to provide a current government-issued photo identification.
