Access NoteThe Manuscript Division Reading Room is open Monday-Saturday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; closed Sundays and federal holidays. Researchers must present a photo id and register at the Library's Access Office. Detailed information on use of the collections can be found at:

Researchers are advised to contact the Division before visiting for the first time; many collections are stored offsite, and retrieval may take several days. (A regularly updated list of collections stored offsite is available on the Division's web site.)
